Halo is a Carin Terrier/Schnauzer mix.
He is about two years old and has suffered head trauma. He also has a
torn ACL but the vet says at this point he just wants to monitor him and
that he may not need surgery. He is also low heartworm positive. He was
found and brought to the shelter but no owner came forward and no
suspects are known for his injuries. In as much pain as he is obviously
in, he still has enough love to share some with me. He gave me many
kisses when I picked him up and brought him to the vet and then again
after his emergency surgery. Halo is now on the road to recovery but if

Halo is not out of the woods yet and the vet said our biggest worries
at this time are infection and the skin dying instead of healing. Please
